What is a TOBY Award?

The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY®) Award is the most prestigious and comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry. It recognizes quality in commercial buildings and rewards excellence in building management.

Winning a TOBY Award is no small feat. During the competition, all facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated. Judges look far beyond the aesthetics of a lobby. They dive deep into the operational engine of the property, assessing:
