What a year it has been! As we close the chapter on 2025, we are taking a moment to look back at the incredible milestones we achieved together.
This year was defined by growth, community, and the shared passion that drives our team. From breaking new ground on vital healthcare facilities to celebrating grand openings and giving back to our communities, it was a year filled with purpose and progress.

Building the Future of Healthcare: Groundbreakings
This year, we put on our hard hats and broke ground on six significant projects, laying the foundation for facilities that will serve communities for years to come. Each ceremony marked the start of a new chapter in providing accessible and advanced healthcare.

From Blueprints to Reality: Ribbon Cuttings
There is nothing quite like seeing a vision come to life. In 2025, we had the honor of cutting the ribbon at seven grand opening ceremonies, each one marking the culmination of hard work, dedication, and collaborative partnerships:
Ohio Gastroenterology Group (Gahanna, Ohio)

Opened in November, this project delivers critical support and shelter for families in need.Trinity Health Infusion Clinic: ArrIVe Therapy (Brighton, MI)
Our team partnered with Trinity Health to bring a new retail, non-chemo infusion concept to life in Michigan.ThedaCare Pediatrics (Neenah, WI)
Doubled the size of the clinic and transformed key clinical spaces and added Xray capabilities for expanded community care.
Each ribbon cutting represented more than just a new building; it symbolized new hope and expanded access to care.
Beyond opening new facilities, our team also delivered on numerous operating room modernizations, installed state-of-the-art fire alarm systems, replaced Building Automation Systems (BAS), and completed a variety of other essential upgrades to keep various healthcare facilities safe, efficient, and ready for the future.
Property Management Successes
Our Property Management team achieved some outstanding milestones in 2025. We welcomed two skilled technicians to our growing team, enhancing our ability to deliver responsive and reliable service. This year also saw us take on management of a brand new building in Wisconsin, expanding our footprint and expertise.
In our ongoing commitment to client value, we developed numerous new vendor relationships, resulting in significant cost savings for our clients. Additionally, our team completed the 2012 NFPA 101 for Health Care: Life Safety Code for Health Care Online series, strengthening our focus on safety and compliance across every property we serve.
Showcasing Our Expertise at Conferences
This year, Hplex Solutions proudly shared our knowledge and experience at several leading industry conferences. Our own Dan Livanec took the stage at ASHE 2025, co-presenting with partners from Danis, HGA, and Mount Carmel on innovative strategies to fast-track healthcare projects without compromising quality or collaboration. Dan also joined the same partners at the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo in Kansas City, discussing how their teamwork on the Mount Carmel Dublin Hospital overcame market challenges to achieve a 62% increase in labor efficiency through lean tools and a fully integrated team approach.
Our CEO, Denny Freudeman, was the featured speaker at the BOMA Columbus luncheon, offering valuable insights on the evolution of healthcare real estate. Denny’s expertise was also showcased at CPOMP 2025, where he participated in the panel “Think You Have a Good JV Deal? These 8 Tests Will Tell You”.
In addition to speaking, we were honored to sponsor CPOMP 2025, inviting industry peers to connect with us and learn more about how Hplex delivers value in healthcare real estate.
Through presentations and sponsorships, our team demonstrated thought leadership and reinforced Hplex Solutions’ commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence in healthcare project delivery.
Celebrating Our 2025 Awards
Our hard work and commitment did not go unnoticed this year. We were proud to win two prestigious BOMA TOBY Awards: Best Medical Office Building for the Walnut Creek Wellness Center and Property Manager of the Year for Kellie VanBlarcom, Director of Property Management. This honor is a true reflection of exceptional property management, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
On top of that, our dedication to culture and workplace excellence was recognized with Columbus Business First's Best Places to Work award. These honors are a testament to the passion, professionalism, and teamwork that define Hplex Solutions.
Our team, along with our building partners, received a Columbus Business First Building Award for the Mount Carmel Hospital project as well.
More Than a Team: Culture & Community Events
At Hplex Solutions, our strength comes from our people and our commitment to the communities we serve. Throughout 2025, we came together for over numerous team and community events that strengthened our bonds and made a positive impact.
Our team culture is built on a foundation of giving back. We made sandwiches for those in need at St. Lawrence Haven, delivered lunches to Habitat for Humanity volunteers, created Kindness Cards for children, packed lunches with Feed The Kids Columbus, volunteered at WARM Westerville, and crafted handmade blankets for My Very Own Blanket.
Internally, we fostered growth and connection through our Lunch & Learn series and, of course, we had plenty of fun! From a "Back to School" themed meeting to our creative Halloween trunk-or-treat and a client appreciation night at a Brewers game, we made sure to celebrate our unique and vibrant team spirit every step of the way.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Reflecting on 2025 fills us with immense pride and gratitude. But the real story is in the lives that will be touched by these new facilities and the community spirit that fueled our efforts.
