For the Love of the Game: Hplex Donates Goalposts to Capital University

We believe strong communities are built by investing in the people, organizations and institutions that make them special. Sometimes, that means supporting a project close to home. Sometimes, it means giving back to a place that played an important role in shaping who you are.

For Hplex CEO Denny Freudeman, Capital University is both.

Denny is a proud Capital University football alumnus, and his experience as a Division III student-athlete continues to influence the way he approaches leadership, teamwork and business today. The lessons he learned on the football field, from discipline and perseverance to putting the team first, helped lay the foundation for his professional career.

It was also at Capital where Denny formed an early bond with Jeff “Bo” Bellinski, a fellow Capital football player and member of the Class of 1977. That friendship would become a professional partnership that lasted more than three decades.

Honoring a Lasting Legacy

As a Capital football offensive tackle, Bo loved the game and the brotherhood it created. His strength, loyalty and passion for Capital Football continued to define him throughout his life.

Bo went on to spend 36 years as a partner at Hplex Solutions, where he played an important role in the growth and success of the company. Over the course of his career, he helped manage the construction and development of more than 100 healthcare facilities across the nation while also helping lead the business as a whole.

Beyond his expertise and work ethic, Bo was known for the meaningful relationships he built with colleagues and clients. He made a lasting impact on the people around him and was truly admired by the entire Hplex team and the clients he served.

When Bo retired in 2021, it marked the end of a remarkable 36-year career with Hplex. His legacy, however, continues through the people he influenced, the relationships he built and the work he helped make possible.

That legacy is now honored on the football field he loved.

Denny Freudeman teamed up with Hplex and together proudly donated new field goalposts to Capital University Football in loving memory of Jeff “Bo” Bellinski.

Supporting the Division III Experience

Denny understands firsthand what makes Division III athletics so meaningful. These student-athletes compete because they love the game, while balancing the demands of academics, athletics and life beyond the field.

That experience builds more than athletes. It builds future leaders.

Division III student-athletes learn to manage competing priorities, work through challenges, adapt when circumstances change and contribute to something bigger than themselves. Those are the same qualities Hplex values in our team and brings to every project we undertake.

Hplex has also embraced this commitment through our NIL partnership with Capital University Supporting Division III athletes is one way we can help the next generation of student-athletes pursue their goals both on and off the field.

For Denny, giving back to Capital is personal. It is a place that shaped his own journey and where he formed a friendship that would become a lifelong professional partnership.

For Hplex, supporting Division III athletics is part of a larger commitment to investing in the communities we serve.

Building Something That Lasts

A goalpost may be a physical part of a football field, but what it represents goes much deeper. It represents success, competition, teamwork, tradition and the memories created by generations of student-athletes.

For Hplex, these goalposts also represent friendship, partnership and legacy.

We are proud to contribute to the Capital University football program while honoring a man who gave 36 years of his career to Hplex and left an indelible mark on our company.

We hope these goalposts stand for many years as a reminder of the players who came before, the student-athletes who take the field today and all those who will follow.

And every time a field goal sails through the uprights or a Capital player runs under them after a touchdown, we hope it serves as a reminder of Bo's love for the game, his commitment to his teammates and the lasting impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
