Every quarter at Hplex represents more than managed properties, completed projects and calendar milestones. It is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, support healthcare organizations, manage properties with care, and create environments where exceptional patient care can thrive.

As we look back on the second quarter of 2026, we are proud of the momentum we continued to build across project management, property stewardship, healthcare development, managing projects, ensuring the grounds and buildings are well kept and building upon the communities where we work and live in

Advancing Healthcare Projects That Make a Difference

During Q2, our team celebrated significant milestones with healthcare projects that will serve patients and communities for years to come.

One of the quarter's highlights was the ribbon cutting for Memorial Jerome Medical Center, a 40,000-square-foot medical office building designed to expand access to high-quality healthcare services in the growing Jerome Township community in Ohio. Serving as the Owner's Representative from concept through completion, our team helped deliver a facility that will provide primary care, specialty services, imaging, urgent care, and more.‍ ‍

Allied Eye Physicians groundbreaking

‍We also celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Allied Eye Physicians and Surgeons facility in Dayton, Ohio. What began as a general conversation with a friend of the client about the inherent risks of procuring the right partners, understanding the investment structuring and how to finance and the other risks of owning a facility. Over 3 years later, Hplex has been able to streamline the process and to assist with procuring the qualified firms to partner with to see this project move forward.

Helping Owners Navigate Complexity

As healthcare projects continue to become more complex, the role of an experienced Owner's Representative has never been more important. Budgets are tighter, schedules to deliver the project are faster, and all the traditional risks of capital project delivery remain just as real.

This quarter, our team shared insights through educational videos, industry discussions, and speaking engagements that highlighted how proactive leadership, clear communication, and strategic oversight help healthcare organizations minimize risk while protecting budgets, schedules, and project goals.

At the AMFP Central Ohio panel discussion, our CEO, Denny Freudeman, joined fellow healthcare leaders to discuss the evolving role of Owner's Representation, emphasizing that successful projects require more than schedule management. They require protecting the owner's vision from planning through activation.

Property Management Focused on Experience

Property management extends far beyond responding to maintenance requests. Throughout Q2, our team demonstrated the value of proactive facility management that enhances both building performance and the tenant experience.

From spring property inspections and window quality checks to parking lot maintenance recommendations and award-winning landscape management, our focus remains on protecting our clients' investments while creating welcoming environments for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.

Perhaps most rewarding was hearing directly from our clients. This quarter, Hplex Solutions achieved a 96% client satisfaction rating in our Property Management Client Survey, a reflection of the relationships we've built through responsive service, consistent communication, and proactive problem solving.

Whether conducting routine property walkthroughs, coordinating preventive maintenance, or maintaining regular tenant communication, our team focuses on building trust before issues arise.

Investing in Our People‍ ‍

One of our greatest strengths continues to be our people.

During the second quarter, we celebrated numerous employee milestones, anniversaries, and leadership achievements, including Andrew Navarro's promotion to Senior Vice President and Principal.

While we celebrated many professional milestones this quarter, one of the most exciting moments happened outside the office. Congratulations to Andrew Navarro and his wife, Mindi, on the birth of their son, Archer Neal Navarro. We couldn't be happier for the growing Navarro family and are thrilled to welcome our newest (future) member of Team Hplex! ‍

Our commitment to continuous learning also remained strong through internal Lunch & Learn sessions, where project teams shared lessons learned from recent healthcare developments to strengthen future project delivery.

Sharing Knowledge Across the Industry

Q2 also provided valuable opportunities to connect with healthcare and commercial real estate professionals across the country.

Members of our team participated in events including:

  • Symposium on Sustainability in Health Care (SSHC)

  • BOMA Columbus Vendor Expo

  • BOMA Property Management Roundtable

  • Indiana Rural Health Association Conference

  • AMFP Central Ohio panel discussion

These events allow us to stay ahead of industry trends, strengthen partnerships, and continue bringing innovative ideas back to our clients.

Giving Back to the Communities We Serve

Supporting healthcare means supporting communities.

Throughout the quarter, Hplex Solutions proudly participated in charitable initiatives including Hard Hats with Heart benefiting the American Heart Association, Canine Companions' Sit. Stay. Sparkle. Gala, and Memorial Health Foundation's annual gala.

These opportunities reflect our belief that creating healthier communities extends beyond the buildings we help develop. It also means investing our time, resources, and leadership where they can make a lasting difference. ‍

Looking Ahead

‍As we move into the second half of 2026, we are excited about the projects taking shape, the partnerships continuing to grow, networking with industry professionals at the upcoming fall national conferences, and the opportunities to help healthcare organizations navigate an increasingly complex environment.

‍Whether serving as an Owner's Representative, managing healthcare properties, or providing strategic real estate consulting initiatives, our mission remains unchanged: helping our clients create healthcare environments where patients receive exceptional care, providers can thrive, and communities grow stronger.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and team members for making another successful quarter possible.
