Q3 2026: Building Better Healthcare Through Partnership, Progress and Community

Every quarter at Hplex Solutions brings new opportunities to build, connect and make an impact. Q3 was no exception.

From major healthcare projects and property management initiatives to industry events, community partnerships and team milestones, the past three months reflected what matters most to us: strong relationships, proactive problem-solving and a commitment to helping healthcare organizations move forward.

Here are a few highlights from Q3.

Supporting Healthcare Projects That Strengthen Communities

Our work as an Owner’s Representative continues to take us into communities across the country, helping healthcare organizations navigate complex projects from planning and development through completion.

This quarter we celebrated the ribbon cutting for the new Graduate Medical Education Resident Townhomes adjacent to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center–Neenah. Hplex served as Owner’s Representative for the 45,948-square-foot development, which includes 28 townhomes designed to provide convenient, affordable housing for physicians completing their residencies.

At the UC Health Blood Cancer Healing Center in Cincinnati, Hplex served as Owner’s Representative for Phase 2 of the expansion. The 23,221-square-foot project added clinical, patient and staff support spaces, including a retail pharmacy, café, inpatient space and staff amenities. Hplex provided oversight of the master planning and budgeting through construction, activation and first-patient readiness, all while the center remained fully operational.

Our team also supported a hybrid operating room project, helping navigate the complex coordination required to introduce advanced technology into an operationally active healthcare environment. In addition, Hplex managed multiple equipment replacement projects for healthcare systems throughout the quarter, including major imaging and oncology equipment; including linear accelerators. These projects require careful planning, coordination and execution to minimize disruption while keeping critical patient services operational.

And in Oshkosh, Wisconsin we were proud to contribute to the new Donor Patio at ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh, a welcoming space designed to provide patients and families with an opportunity to pause, connect and find comfort outside the clinical environment.

These projects demonstrate the impact that thoughtful planning, collaboration and strong partnerships can have well beyond the walls of a healthcare facility.

Investing in Our Industry

Q3 also gave our team plenty of opportunities to learn, share ideas and connect with professionals across the healthcare and facilities industries.

Andrew Navarro represented Hplex at the Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association (WHEA) Annual Conference, where he led a panel discussion focused on present-proofing and future-planning strategies for continuously active healthcare facilities. The conversation brought together perspectives from healthcare, design and construction and explored how organizations can renovate and plan for the future while keeping facilities safe and operational.

Our team also participated in events with AMFP, IREM, BOMA and other industry organizations throughout the quarter.

These connections matter. The healthcare environments of tomorrow will be shaped by collaboration across disciplines, and we value every opportunity to learn from our peers and contribute to those conversations.

Building Community, Strengthening Our Team

At Hplex, community is an important part of who we are. We believe being a strong team means supporting one another, giving back to the communities where we work and finding opportunities to make a difference beyond our day-to-day responsibilities.

Q3 gave our team plenty of opportunities to put that belief into action. We volunteered with LifeCare Alliance, packaging 2,310 meals for the Meals on Wheels program. We also supported Five Rivers Health Centers through its first fundraising event and participated in charitable and community events throughout the quarter.

Our team also joined the American Heart Association's Hard Hats with Heart kickoff events, helping launch the organization's annual gala and fundraising campaign. As a sponsor of Hard Hats with Heart, Hplex is proud to support an organization focused on improving heart health and making a difference in our community.

Giving back is only part of the story. We also made time to connect and have fun together as a team. Our annual Hplex Tailgate Triathlon brought everyone together for an afternoon of friendly competition, plenty of laughs and a chance to enjoy time together outside of the office.

These experiences are an important part of our culture. We believe the strongest teams are built on relationships, shared experiences and a genuine commitment to showing up for each other and for the communities around us.

Whether we're working together on a healthcare project, volunteering in the community or competing in a tailgate challenge, we're proud of the culture we have and continue to grow at Hplex.

Honoring a Legacy at Capital University

This quarter, Hplex Solutions proudly donated new field goalposts to Capital University Football in memory of longtime Hplex partner and Capital football alumnus Jeff “Bo” Bellinski.

For Hplex CEO Denny Freudeman, the connection to Capital is personal. Denny is a proud Capital football alumnus, where Bo was a fellow football player and member of the Class of 1977. Their friendship grew into a professional partnership that lasted more than three decades.

Bo spent 36 years as a partner with Denny, helping lead the company and manage the development of more than 100 healthcare facilities across the country. He was known for his expertise, work ethic and, most importantly, the lasting relationships he built along the way.

The new goalposts are a lasting tribute to Bo and his love of Capital Football. They also represent friendship, teamwork, tradition and the impact one person can have on the people and organizations around them.

Looking Ahead

As we move into Q4, we're carrying the momentum of a busy and meaningful quarter with us.

We'll continue supporting healthcare organizations through complex projects, helping facilities operate more effectively, strengthening industry relationships and investing in the communities where we live and work.

We'll also be heading to New Orleans for HCD Conference + Expo 2026, where healthcare leaders, planners, designers and innovators will gather to explore what's next for healthcare design and construction.

Q3 reminded us that building better healthcare is about much more than buildings.

It's about the people who plan them, the teams who build them, the professionals who keep them running and the communities they ultimately serve.

We're grateful to our clients, partners, colleagues and team members who continue to make that work possible.

Thank you for being part of the Hplex journey.
